i really like this: regeneration is always interesting and i haven't read many fics that deal with it properly, probably because we usually see the doctor's on screen and therefore - what is there to say without just rehashing the event? but still - it probably is terrifying and more so the very first time, though i'd never really thought about it before. i also like the tiny detail about him being able to stand again.
