Maybe one of those pockets is really, really deep? Maybe right now, your stick is in Narnia, wondering what the hell it's going to do with all that Turkish delight?
I hope it shows up. I hope it's just tucked in some invisible fold in your bag. Or that it finds its way back to you. (If it makes you feel better, we found someone's stick in the shop, and were able to return it. People do that, sometimes.)
