OMG STAN LEE!!1
Mar. 3rd, 2010 12:30 amYou know you're a geek when you start laughing at the opening gag of a Big Bang Theory episode before it occurs, because you recognise the object that's about to catalyse it.
Really nice use of it, though - especially giving it to the character with selective mutism.
Also, STAN LEE!
And you've gotta love Sheldon's collector's logic. "Then I will have a unique, albeit confusing, artefact." <3
Still haven't watched the Being Human finale... and Glee is oddly addictive.
Meanwhile, Charles and Dora are actually developing backstory and sideplots OMG, and if Ellie would only tell me what it is that she's tying herself to railings over then that would be insanely helpful for worldbuilding. Ever since she was transplanted into a gender-equal world, my poor ex-suffragette has been a rebel without a cause.

Date: 2010-03-03 12:18 pm (UTC)Glee? Seriously? I must say I was a little bit horrified by the trailers for it. Like, it seemed like the kind of thing that would make an amusing - if daft - film, but I couldn't really see it being convincingly stretched out to an entire series. Maybe I will give it a shot if it has your recommendation though.

Date: 2010-03-03 12:48 pm (UTC)It's problematic for all of racism, sexism, ablism and homophobia, doesn't have rewatch value and I'm certainly not planning on buying the DVDs (or even torrenting the episodes, come to that - I'm watching on E4). And yet... I can't stop watching.
I think I need a job. Or new Doctor Who, that'd help, MATT SMITH NAO PLX.
(Dead Air comes out this month. Probably the last Tennant story
everfor a year or two until they do something big for the fiftieth anniversary! So sad :( )
