I had this episode on VHS, years ago. I must have watched it a hundred times*, and yet I never noticed until today that the eponymous white suit was, er, cream.

*I have proof! The line that's cut off at the end? 'Let me get this clear. Your idea of cheering everyone up is to go and get yourself a new suit?!' ♥ Marian.

I would have sworn blind when I was ten that that suit was white. Which can only mean that in the decade (nearly decade and a half) since I last saw this show - nearly two decades after it was produced - video quality has just come on that much.
